Sony DPF-V700 7 inch Digital Picture Frame
Sony, the world’s largest conglomerates are one of the leading manufacturers of electronic goods for consumer and professional markets. Here, we are to review the DPF-V700, a digital picture frame of Sony.
Design:
The Sony DPF-V700 digital picture frame has a brilliant 7” LCD Screen display that is designed to produce brilliant and high contrast colours. This 800×480 pixel frame is having an aspect ratio of 15:9 and can display only images but not videos. Though the picture quality is extremely good, since the screen is reflective, it does struggle a little when there is bright sunlight.
DPF-V700 comes with a remote control and can be wall mounted too.
Performance:
The ease of use of this digital photo frame is high. The response time of Sony DPF-V700 is also very quick. The DPF-V700 picture frame uses the powerful BIONZ processor that produces optimised image quality and fast response with super-quick opening for all the images irrespective of its size reducing unwanted delay and sputtering transitions between the images displayed as slideshow. It displays images as large as 2mb in less than 2 seconds.

Features:
Sony DPF-V700 7 inch digital photo frame features the interesting auto orientation sensor feature that automatically detects if the frame is sitting horizontally or vertically and then adjusts to the picture orientation as portrait or landscape accordingly. The face detection automatically adjusts the exposure and tone of the faces to produce the best of the image. DPF-V700 also features a number of auto-touch-up image improving features such as, red-eye reduction, skin smoothing, exposure correction and focus correction. Auto size adjustment rescales the images of larger size to HD quality in order to increase the album capacity.
Slideshow modes and supported formats:
This digital picture frame of Sony features around nine choices for slideshow modes, clock and calendar modes, and single image and index views. It can decode and display up to 48MegaPixel and 100MB images, including the ones in the format of JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and RAW type files.
Memory:
DPF-V700’s multi-card slot accepts most of the memory cards like Memory Stick Duo, SD, MMC, Compact Flash, MicroDrive and can be connected to your PC with the help of the USB port with no other software required. It does accept direct input from most of the digital cameras. This Sony DPF 700 Wireless Digital Photo frame has an internal memory of 512MB, which can store up to 1000 images which is considerably good. But, the good news is that it does have the HDMI (High Definition Media Interface) socket so that you can connect it to your HDTV and have giant slideshows. The clock/calendar modes allow you to display the images from the Bluetooth devices and camera mobile phones.
Less power consumption:
One bolt with the design is that, the frame does not support a switch off button, though it sports a small button to put the frame in stand-by mode. So, you will have to turn off the plug when the frame is not at use. Sony DPF-V700BW produces an excellent record when it comes to the power consumption as it is very low.
Verdict:
Sony DPF-V700 LCD Screen digital photo frame is a great choice if your only consideration is picture quality of the display. But this may not be the one for you if want the frame to play music and video. This product is quiet expensive too considering its specifications.

This is really a brilliant choice for me as the name Sony will hit the market. Very interesting digital picture frame has less power consumption too. Zooming is outstandingly prominent one. Enjoy Zoooooming
