The Kodak is a multinational US company that produces imaging and photographic materials equipment. You will not be able to find even a single subfield of the photographic industry where Kodak has not got its foot prints. It is a very popular and award winning cooperation. Said that, the following is a review on their Kodak P720 Digital Picture Frame.
Kodak offers a wide category of digital photo frames that includes models which feature built-in wireless connectivity and even with the latest cutting edge technology, the OLED display. But the frame that we have taken into consideration, the Kodak P720 is a very basic frame that sits in the entry level ranges of Kodak.
A basic frame with simple look:
The Kodak P720 Digital Photo Frame looks decent with a simple black border and a slim profile. We have seen a wide variety of frames that come in real wood and metal finishes. But the P720 is fully plastic. They come with two stick on decorative mattes, out of which one is red and the other is silver and these mattes allow you to customise the frame. The frame Overall, it possesses a very elegant look. Though you do not have the option of swiveling the kickstand, the frame can be placed both horizontally and vertically. The rear of the frame has keyhole slots for mounting the frame to a wall with screws along with a threaded tripod mount if you wish to prop it up with a tripod.

Orientations:
As we had mentioned earlier, the frame can be kept at any orientation. By default, the frame is set up to display the pictures in landscape orientation. In order to change the orientation to portrait, the settings have to be changed. The viewing options setting has to be changed in order to make the orientation changes.
Controls and Connectivity in P720:
The fascia of the display has not got much controls, it has just the LCD display, a touch border that can be tapped and slide and another touch border that can be only tapped and there is a touch sensitive raised guide. It is the rear side of the frame that has got all the buttons and ports. The top left corner has the power button followed by a reset button. The other controls and ports available are, a memory card slot for SD, MS, xD, MMC and another slot for SD/SDHC, USB connector and wall mounting slots. Inserting and removing the memory cards is quite tricky. For inserting, just push the card firmly into the slot until it stops and to remove the card from the top card slot, you will have to push in the card to release it and to take the card out from the side slot, just pull it out. Be careful not to insert a micro or mini card without an adaptor. USB devices such as digital camera, flash drive, card reader etc can be connected to the device with the help of the USB cable provided.
Touch border:
The frame has a touch border, which can be said as the highlight feature of this P720 digital frame. It can be accessed by touching along the raised guide at the bottom, which can be tapped and slided. The border in the right can be only tapped over, these borders are used to find or highlight the menu items or pictures and once the required selection is made, just press over OK to select them. Note that, only the border is touch sensitive and not the screen.
